Philosophies of G.I.F.T. Fitness
1. Physical Fitness: Quantity of human energy
Movement - All the different physical patterns your body makes during the day. The goal of the training is typically accomplishing your daily life tasks. Exercise - Repeating movement patterns with volume, intensity, or complexity to improve specific internal health measures, like cardiovascular function.
- Getting Stronger - One's ability to execute daily activities with optimal performance, endurance, and strength to manage disease, fatigue, and stress and reduce sedentary behavior.
- Injury-Free- To have total body awareness, which means not only living without pain. It also means performing to the best of your ability, staying healthy, and keeping up your fitness level.
- Total Body Well-Being- A holistic approach to integrative health and health management. It's a lifestyle method that takes into consideration all aspects of your wellbeing.
2. Mental Fitness: Focus and concentration energy
Thoughts- The process of using your mind to consider something carefully
- Thinking- Equipped with the capacity to reason
- Beliefs- An idea one accepts as being trustworthy or honest. Trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something.
- Affirmations- A statement declaring the existence or the truth of something
- Self-Awareness- Your ability to accurately perceive your own emotions at the moment and understand your tendencies across situations.
- Social Awareness- Your ability to accurately pick up on emotions in other people and understand what is going on with them.
- Meditation- Is an extended period of thought or concentration. To engage in mental exercise (such as concentration on one's breathing or repetition of a mantra), you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress.
3. Emotional Fitness: Quality and nature of human energy.
Feeling - An emotional state or reaction. The experiencing of affective and emotional states.
- Feedback - An evaluation or corrective information about an action, event, or feeling.
- Positive Energy - Positive feeling; optimism, enthusiasm
4. Energy Fitness: Is what we do for the community and society.
Purpose - What we do for others with intention and determination. Contribution to humanity.
- Peace - Is a state of tranquility, freedom from oppressive thoughts or emotions. A stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there's no fighting or war. Everything is coexisting in perfect harmony and freedom.
Vision- Is the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.
