Fitness is a way of life. We break down this way of life into four different areas physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fitness.
First, let’s start with physical fitness, which focuses on the strengthening of the body, weight loss, and the increase of energy for everyday day life. The best way to accomplish all-encompassing fitness levels is through weight lifting and strength training. This program encompasses compound movements, progressive overload weight lifting body movements, and cardio to strengthen the body. The body’s ability to adapt to challenges, struggles, and obstacles is remarkable. Tearing down the muscle to progressively overload weight creates muscle hypertrophy which forces muscles to break down and repair but this time around stronger and better prepared for life. It also increases the stamina in our bodies through the strengthening of our cardiovascular systems.
Next comes our mental fitness. We develop this fitness through focus conscious attention, exercising problem-solving puzzles, and most importantly, reading. The idea is to add to what we unconsciously know by deciding to learn consciously. That means having our awareness focusing on using our minds to connect with any activity we are doing in the present moment. There is a difference between what we think, an opinion, and what we intuitively know, which we prove and confirm through our personal experiences. The more we know, the more we see, and the more we can design our lives to manifest our passions, purposes, and dreams.
Now emotional fitness, which means good human quality energy. We establish this by building an environment, culture and community. Whether in a physical location or virtual, everything is about good positive human interactions. A place where people don’t fit in but instead a place where people belong to be who they authentically and genuinely are. G.I.F.T. Fitness is a place where all the great minds meet to accomplish their fitness and weight loss goals as a united community.
Lastly and most important is spiritual fitness, which is what we do for others. The ultimate joy in life from our lens and view of the world is giving. Life is about encouraging others to be the best versions of themselves. To Instill courage and confidence in others about what’s possible in life. We teach our philosophy that everything in life must be easy, correct and enjoyable! We give the world a different perspective that when you do for the human being next to you, it raises your human spirit. The human spirit and heart are powerful, the stuff that dreams and purpose what we do for others are born from, and the world makes room for passion turned to purpose.
