The G.I.F.T. Fitness Social Wellness Experience

Social wellness is all about good-quality human quality emotions in group settings. The best way to teach and embody that learning is by designing the conditions in any environment with the right systems, processes, practices, and procedures. The key indicator is the behaviors in the groups. These system goals are to resonate with the ideal archetype for The specific knowledge goals of that group. We do this by creating core principles and values for that group. Next, we have to have an inspirational and servant leader who supermodels the core and principles values we want to attain. Not a leader that preaches but one who practices and shows through conscious actions what the core values stand for.
Because people don’t follow what you tell them, they follow what they see. Next, we have to think about the dialogues that we practice and the common language that is developing. It is essential that everyone feels safe to participate in the dialogues without the fear of judgment or anyone pointing out something wrong. The dialogue's purpose is to deepen the awareness and understanding of the meaning of group thinking. To sharpen everyone’s communication skills and create divergent and effective thinking. The dialogue facilitator should have self-mastery in communication and thinking to ensure the flow and the development of the dialogue to synthesize insights with everyone partaking in the dialogue. The following key insight is listening, not hearing. That means a lot of the time when we are in conversations, we just unconsciously hear them. The goal of every conversation is to consciously actively listen so that we can add it to our unconscious competence of skills and insights. Listening to itself is a skill because when you are actively listening, it also means you’re not doing any thinking.
An example would be what you will say next because if you’re thinking of a response, you’re listening to what they say. The next skill is learning. We have to add to what we don’t know. A lot of people are reactive and unconsciously incompetent but not even aware of that it’s going on. We have to begin to read about what we don’t know has to do with social wellness to develop a foundation of knowledge on the subject. Then we need to start paying attention to what we read and practice in real-time, identifying the information or practicing the skill sets from the knowledge we learn to improve our social awareness skills and knowing, therefore becoming our wisdom. Social wellness, like anything else in life, is something that has to be developed and practiced. Here are some areas to improve your social wellness, but like any skill or mastery, it’s a lifelong journey. We never stop working on it or ourselves. Once you achieve a certain level, the next challenge and obstacle to sharpening your skills are to go into different environments and put your skills to practice in unknown environments until they become known while maintaining a high level of social wellness.
